New Packaging

Launching 1st May

We are very excited to announce that we have launched our new packaging.

What to expect:

Similar branding elements from our previous noodle packets have flowed into our new packaging. However, you will notice that we have moved away from the double plastic packaging towards a beautiful cardboard box that really captures the story and essence of our business:

~ Traditional egg noodles.
~ Handcrafted in the Barossa Valley since 1935.
~ Made with 100% Australian, all natural ingredients, using the same original recipe.

Environmental Sustainability:

Environmental sustainability is one of our core values, and we were really determined to reduce our plastic usage. Our new packaging is a step forward by removing the plastic trays from our Original Range (red packets) and changing to a carboard box that is 100% recyclable and can go straight into your council recycling bin.

We still need to keep the soft-plastic inner bag to preserve our egg noodles (and to ensure we don't create more food waste). This bag has the capability to be recycled once soft plastic recycling streams get running again. We have faith that this will happen, hopefully in the near future!

Same Original Recipe:

We also want to assure you that we have not changed the original recipe that Marie Wiech first started with in 1935. By continuing to use this original recipe, along with the traditional, handcrafted making methods, we are able to ensure that the quality and great taste of our egg noodles continues on into the future.
